Melt butter in skillet on medium heat. Add celery and onions; cook and stir 3 min. or until crisp-tender. Stir in all remaining ingredients except franks and buns; simmer on medium-low heat 15 min., stirring occasionally.
Add franks; cook 5 min. or until heated through.
Fill buns with franks and sauce just before serving.
Remove 1/2 cup of the prepared sauce from skillet before adding the franks. Continue as directed. Serve franks in buns topped with the reserved sauce.
Barbecued Smokies Appetizer
Omit buns. Substitute 1 pkg. (14 oz.) OSCAR MAYER Smokies Smoked Sausage for the franks. Cut each sausage link into 4 pieces. Prepare recipe as directed, substituting cut-up sausage for the franks. Serve with toothpicks.
