Instructions

  1. Step 1

    HEAT griddle or flattop to 350°F, or a large flat skillet to medium heat.

  2. Step 2

    ADD bacon to griddle; cook until crisp. Remove bacon from griddle; drain on paper towels and break in half.

  3. Step 3

    SPOON onions onto area on griddle where bacon was cooked; cook 6 min. or until onions are tender, stirring frequently.

  4. Step 4

    MEANWHILE, shape meat into 4 (1/2-inch-thick) patties.

    SPOON onions into 4 small piles, 4 inches apart, on griddle; drizzle evenly with 1 Tbsp. of the Tropical Teriyaki sauce. Top with beef patties; flatten patties with back of spatula. Add pineapple slices to empty areas on griddle.

    COOK beef patties and pineapple 5 to 6 min. on each side or until burgers are done (160°F), topping the burgers with cheese for the last minute of the cooking time.

    MEANWHILE, mix mayonnaise and remaining Tropical Teriyaki sauce until blended.

    SPREAD mayonnaise mixture onto bottom halves of buns; top with burgers, pineapple slices and bacon. Cover with tops of buns.
