Instructions

  1. Step 1

    Heat the oven to 400°F. Prepare the fries as directed on package.

  2. Step 2

    Meanwhile, melt butter in a large nonstick skillet on medium heat. Add onions; cook for 15 min., stirring frequently. Add bouillon cube and water; cook and stir until bouillon cube is dissolved. Simmer on medium-low heat for 15 min. or until onions are tender and golden brown, stirring occasionally.

  3. Step 3

    Stir in 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce and 1/2 tsp.thyme. Add the meat; mix lightly. Cook and stir for 2 min. or until heated through. Remove from heat.

  4. Step 4

    Transfer the rolls from the package to a cutting board, taking care not to separate them. Use a serrated knife to carefully cut block of rolls horizontally in half. Place bottom half of rolls in 13x9-inch baking dish. Top with layers of meat, onions, fries, and cheese.

  5. Step 5

    Brush half the aioli onto cut sides of top halves of the rolls; place, sauced sides down, over topped roll halves in baking dish. Brush with remaining aioli.

  6. Step 6

    Bake for 5 to 7 min. or until cheese is melted and all ingredients are heated through. Cut into individual sandwiches to serve.

    Special Extra: Add arugula leaves to the sandwich after baking as directed.
