THE HEINZ POUTINE KETCHUP SOCIAL SWEEPSTAKES OFFICIAL RULES
1. Sweepstakes Period: The Heinz Poutine Ketchup Social Sweepstakes (the “Sweepstakes”) begins at 8:00 AM Eastern Time (“ET”) on April 8, 2026 and ends at 11:59 PM ET on April 25, 2026 (“Sweepstakes Period”).
2. Eligibility: The Sweepstakes is open only to legal residents of Canada, who are 18 years of age or older as of the date of entry. Employees of Kraft Heinz Canada ULC (the “Sponsor”), their respective parents, subsidiaries, divisions, affiliates, suppliers, distributors and advertising, promotional and judging agencies, including Don Jagoda Associates, Inc. (“Administrator”) and their immediate family members (spouses, parents, children, and siblings and their spouses) and household members of each (whether related or not), are not eligible to participate or win. Void outside Canada and where prohibited by law. All federal, provincial, territorial and municipal laws and regulations apply.
3. How to Enter: At the beginning of the Sweepstakes Period, @Heinz_ca will post a Sweepstakes Instagram post. To enter, tag two (2) friends in your comment on the Sweepstakes post (“Entry”). To enter the Sweepstakes, you must have an Instagram account and have your account settings set to public (not private) and be a follower of the @Heinz_ca Instagram account. An Instagram account can be opened for free by downloading the Instagram application from the Apple Store or Google Play. Entries must be complete to be eligible. All Entries must be submitted by 11:59 PM ET on April 25, 2026 to be eligible. Limit one (1) Entry per person/Instagram handle.
Entries cannot defame, misrepresent or contain disparaging remarks about Sponsor or any of its products, or other people, products or companies or communicate messages or images inconsistent with the positive images and/or goodwill to which Sponsor associates. Sponsor reserves the right to monitor and will monitor Entries and delete, if required in its sole discretion. By entering, you acknowledge that your Entry may be posted on the Sponsor’s website(s) or other media pages, in Sponsor’s sole discretion. Sponsor shall have full right and power to copy, publish, broadcast, display, distribute, use, edit, translate, alter, combine with other material, reuse and adapt any or all portions of the Entries in any way and for any purpose whatsoever, at any time, now or in the future, in any media now known or hereafter devised throughout the world in any manner whatsoever and for any purpose. Entries that are not in accordance with these Official Rules as stated herein or are not received during the Sweepstakes Period will be ineligible. Entries should not be obscene or offensive, nor should they contain any copyrighted materials or promote any brands.
Any attempt by any entrant to enter by using multiple/different email addresses, mailing addresses, identities, registrations and logins, or any other methods will void such entries and that entrant may be disqualified.
4. Random Drawing: Fifty (50) Prize winners will be selected in a random drawing on or about April 27, 2026 from among all eligible Entries received during the Sweepstakes Period at the Administrator’s offices in Melville, NY (USA). The random drawing will be conducted by the Administrator who is an independent judging organization. The decisions of the Sponsor and the Administrator are final and binding on all matters relating to the Sweepstakes. The odds of winning a prize depend on the total number of eligible Entries received during the Sweepstakes Period.
5. Winner Notification/Verification: Potential Prize winners will be sent a direct message (“DM”) from the @Heinz_ca Instagram account, which will include a time-limited skill testing question that must be completed correctly within forty-eight (48) hours or prize may be forfeited. Failure to reach potential winner within forty-eight (48) hours of notification, return notification as undeliverable, or potential winner otherwise does not meet all Sweepstakes conditions, will result in all rights to the prize to be forfeited and an alternate winner may be selected. No correspondence pertaining to this Sweepstakes will be entered into except with potential winners. Winners will receive their prizes within 6-8 weeks after verification at the address provided during notification.
6. Prizes and Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”): Prizes (50): One (1) 375ml bottle of HEINZ Poutine Ketchup. The ARV of each Prize is CAD $4. Limit one (1) prize per person. No transfer or substitution for prize permitted, except at the sole discretion of the Sponsor for any reason, and, in such circumstance, an alternate prize of equal value will be awarded and the Sponsor’s obligation to the winners will be fulfilled, and no other additional compensation will be provided. Any and all applicable taxes and all fees and expenses related to acceptance and use of a prize not specifically stated herein are the sole responsibility of the winners.
7. General Rules: Incomplete, corrupted, or untimely Entries are void and will be disqualified. Sponsor and Administrator are not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, damaged or misdirected Entries/winner notification documents; lost, interrupted, or unavailable network, server, or other connections; or miscommunications, computer or software malfunctions, telephone transmission problems, technical failures, garbled transmissions, damage to a user's computer/phone equipment (software or hardware), or other errors or malfunctions of any kind, whether human, mechanical, electronic or otherwise. Proof of Entry will not be deemed to be proof of receipt by Sponsor. In the event of a dispute as to the identity of an entrant, the authorized account holder of the email address associated with the Instagram account used to enter will be deemed to be the entrant. “Authorized account holder” of an email address is the natural person in whose name the email address has been issued. Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, suspend and/or modify the Sweepstakes, or any part of it, if any fraud, technical failures or any other factor beyond Sponsor's reasonable control impairs the integrity or proper functioning of the Sweepstakes, as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion, and in the event of cancellation, the prizes will be awarded in a random drawing from among all eligible Entries received prior to cancellation. Sponsor's failure to enforce any term of these Official Rules shall not constitute a waiver of that provision. WARNING: ANY ATTEMPT BY AN ENTRANT OR ANY OTHER INDIVIDUAL TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEBSITE ASSOCIATED WITH THIS SWEEPSTAKES OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE SWEEPSTAKES MAY BE A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAW; SHOULD ANY SUCH ATTEMPT BE MADE, SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO PROSECUTE AND SEEK DAMAGES FROM ANY SUCH PERSON TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion to disqualify any individual it finds: to be attempting to tamper with or undermine the Entry process, and/or the legitimate operation of the Sweepstakes; to violate the Official Rules; or, to act in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner or with the intent to annoy, abuse, threaten, or harass any other person. If, for any reason, the Sweepstakes is not capable of running as planned, Sponsor may, in its sole discretion, void any suspect Entries and (a) modify the Sweepstakes or suspend the Sweepstakes to address the impairment and then resume the Sweepstakes in a manner that best conforms to the spirit of these Official Rules; or (b) award the prizes at random from among all eligible Entries received in accordance with these Official Rules prior to cancellation.
8. Warranties and Representations; Release of Liability: You hereby hold Sponsor, Administrator, Instagram, and each of their respective officers, directors, members, managers, employees, agents, representatives, successors and assigns (the “Released Parties”) harmless from and against any third-party claim arising from use of any Entry and you waive any right to inspect or approve uses of your Entry by Sponsor in connection with the Sweepstakes or to be compensated for any such uses. Participating in the Sweepstakes constitutes permission to the Sponsor to use winners’ names, addresses, likenesses and Entries in connection with the administration of the Sweepstakes only and as otherwise required by law. By participating in the Sweepstakes, the entrant agrees that Released Parties will have no liability whatsoever for, and will be held harmless by entrant for any liability for any bodily injury, loss or damages of any kind to persons, including death, and property, due in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from Entry, the acceptance, possession, use or misuse of any prize or component thereof, if applicable, or participation in the Sweepstakes or participation in any Sweepstakes related activity. You hereby represent and warrant that you have read these Official Rules and are fully familiar with their contents and agree to be bound by them.
9. Privacy: The Sponsor respects the entrants’ right to privacy. Personal information collected from entrants (including but not limited to names, mailing addresses, telephone numbers, and email addresses) will be used for the purpose of administering this Sweepstakes, conducting publicity about this Sweepstakes, and enhancing and personalizing future promotional communications to entrants. By entering this Sweepstakes, entrants consent to Sponsor’s collection, use, and disclosure of their personal information for these purposes. 10. Governing Law: All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation, and enforceability of Rules, or the rights and obligations of entrants and the Sponsor in connection with the Sweepstakes shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and the laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflicts of law principles. Any attempt by an entrant or other individual to deliberately damage any website or undermine the legitimate operation of the Sweepstakes could be a violation of criminal and civil laws and should such an attempt be made, the Sponsor reserves the right to seek damages from any such person to the fullest extent permitted by law. This Sweepstakes is subject to all federal, provincial, territorial and municipal laws.
11. Language Discrepancy: Unless otherwise required by applicable law, in the event of any discrepancy or inconsistency between the English language version and the French language version of these Rules, as applicable, the English version shall prevail, govern, and control.
12. TAX: All federal, provincial/territorial, local, and other taxes on a prize, if any, are the sole responsibility of the winners.
