Bacon & Beanz pastry pockets


Ingredients

    Sheets frozen puff pastry, slightly thawed

  • 1

    cup

    Grated cheese blend

  • 1

    can

    Heinz Beanz® caramelised onion flavour

  • 2

    Rashers rindless bacon, finely diced

  • 1-2

    Spring onions, finely chopped

Instructions

  1. Step 1

    Preheat a jaffle maker or pie maker.

  2. Step 2

    Cook the bacon in a pan over medium heat, set aside.

  3. Step 3

    Place pastry over the base of the plates. This will begin to soften and mold the pastry.

  4. Step 4

    Divide the cheese, Heinz Beanz Caramelised Onion Flavour, bacon and spring onion amongst four pastry bases. Cover with the second sheet of pastry to enclose filling.

  5. Step 5

    Close lid and cook for 10-12 minutes, let sit for two minutes to cool and enjoy.
