Forsyth Seafood Market & Café

Winston Salem

Forsyth's is a seafood market three generations in the making. What began with Ms. Virginia Hardesty and her late husband, Charlie Hardesty, peddling shrimp from the back of a truck, has taken on a life of its own as a 100-seater restaurant that serves hundreds every day. Both hailing from Beaufort, NC, they grew up with commercial fishermen for dads and eating fresh fish for dinner. Now, that legacy continues with their daughter, Ashley Hardesty, who co-owns and cooks along with her mother.
