Project Keystone

Project Keystone is a major global initiative that will enhance the competitiveness of Heinz through improved process, capabilities and systems that will better leverage our scale. Project Keystone will:

• Provide a new level of operational capabilities
• Implement common, streamlined processes globally
• Enable greater data visibility
• Upgrade and replace our fragmented systems environment

Project Keystone will also simplify and enhance Indirect Procurement, enabling:

• More, highly leveraged sourcing with preferred vendors
• Greater compliance to approved contracts
• More catalog purchases
• Streamlined, automated protocols
• Fewer authorization levels

Heinz has implemented Project Keystone in the UK and plans to expand the program to the U.S. and Northern Europe in Fiscal 2010/11.
